this story is named after a mission of the same name in zero 1. that's about the extent of its depth. the characters in this story are loosely pulled from some vague ideas i've had here and there, but honestly, this is a pretty whole-cloth work. mainly wanted to add a bit of a check in about what tin can is up to and how dense the arcadian hitler particles are; and explore the idea of holographic weapons. i think it's badass. i guess this is extremely extremely vaguely inspired by the bit in jojo part 2 where yung joseph goes to mexico and is stalked by some overdesigned nazi knife guy only to immediately body him and tie him to a cactus
it took a lot of fuckin restraint to make scarab's serial number not be "621" lol furry moment
